Open Ice Initiative Inc. is a Toronto registered nonprofit founded in 2025 and run by a seventeen member student executive. Through Open Ice Camps it gives underprivileged youth free ice time, professional coaching, and a full set of equipment they keep for good. It runs six camps a year across two Toronto arenas and has drawn national and local media coverage.

Open Ice Initiative on first mention, Open Ice afterwards. Our programme is Open Ice Camp. We are a nonprofit, not a registered charity, and we cannot issue charitable tax receipts.
