Seven jobs that need doing

Four days, 8:00 to 3:00

Skate with a group under the coaching staff. You need to be able to skate. You do not need to have played, and you do not need to know any drills.

One morning, 7:30 to 11:00

Measure children and fit equipment. This is the single most useful three hours anybody gives us and it needs no hockey knowledge at all.

One hour a day, 7:45 to 8:45

Tick names off, take waivers, hand out name tags, point families at the stands. Good if you are calm with people.

Two hours over lunch

Set up, hand out, clear away. Unglamorous, essential, and the part campers remember as the loud bit.

As long as you like

We publish real photographs and we credit every one. If you shoot, we want you. Consent rules apply and we will brief you on them.

An hour, from home

Help us write to a family in their own language. Any language spoken in Toronto is useful and this can be done entirely by email.

A few hours a week in term

The seventeen. Open ahead of each cycle and volunteering at a camp is the usual route in.
