Coaching staff
Camps are led on ice by professional coaching staff, supported by the student executive and trained on-ice volunteers.
Summer Camp 2026
Marc Muruve is head coach for Summer Camp 2026 at Leaside Arena. Mike Wilson serves as acting head coach on day one, Tuesday 4 August.
March Break Camp 2026
Cameron Gaunce led on-ice coaching at the March 2026 camp. Gaunce is a fifteen year professional whose career included time in the Colorado, Dallas, Pittsburgh and Tampa Bay organisations, and he is a current TSN analyst.
My favourite thing about hockey is not being good at hockey, it is spending time together with friends. By the end of the week you are going to spend a bunch of time together, make some memories, and hopefully that is something you can continue going forward.
On-ice volunteers
Every session is supported by on-ice volunteers drawn from the student executive and the wider volunteer roster. Volunteers work under the coaching staff and follow the Open Ice code of conduct and media policy.
